Western Beauty Institute takes pride in allowing our students the opportunity to shine. Back on May 31st, 2009, WBI was one of many beauty and cosmetology schools to participate at the 2009 SuperSunday styling event. However, WBI sparkled in the spotlight, receiving honorable mention and 2nd place in the SuperStyle Competition.
The event was held at the Pechanga Resort and Casino located in Temecula, California. SuperCuts and The Regis Corporation sponsored this exciting event with help from Esche and Alexander Public Relations. It was an event for all, where future beauticians competed in live model and junior mannequin styling competitions, instructors were honored, and informative seminars were provided. Our competing students were able to demonstrate their styling techniques in front of 1,200 spectators in Pechanga's beautifully decorated main ballroom. WBI students, family and friends held up posters and flyers, cheering for our competing stylists.
It was a fun and rewarding event for the beauty institute and their participants. Again, congratulations to the winners and everyone involved for their incredible work, efforts which have made Western Beauty Institute one of the finest cosmetology schools in Southern California.
