World-renowned Western Beauty Institute announced today the WBI Education Stimulus Program for newly enrolled cosmetology students. From today forward, Western Beauty Institute is offering all newly enrolled cosmetology students an unprecedented one thousand three hundred ($1,300) dollars as a scholarship grant. This grant, which is not subject to repayment under the conditions of acceptance, will go a long way in helping those students that need a helping hand in this most critical juncture in our nations economy.
Director of Marketing, Randy Fugate was elated to be able to make this announcement. Mr. Fugate said, “It’s a real honor and privilege to let our new students take advantage of this grant. The staff at Western Beauty Institute, Ms. Christina Diaz our CEO and I are 100% pro-student.” Mr. Fugate went on to say, “This opportunity will allow us to change the lives of many more students that are attracted to the world of beauty.”
Mr. Fugate added, “My advice to prospective student candidates is to call the school for details. And, please know that this is a limited time offer and subject to change without notice. We want everyone that wants to change their life and start a new career to take advantage of this fabulous offer.”
Western Beauty Institute is celebrating fifty (50) beautiful years in 2009. Western Beauty Institute was founded as the San Fernando Beauty Academy in 1959. Expanding from the Panorama City campus, WBI grew and opened the Lancaster campus in 2005. Today, nearly 600 San Fernando and Antelope Valley students attend courses in Cosmetology, Esthetics (Skin Care) and Nail Technology (Manicuring) that start each week and run year-round. The schools feature full-service salons for hair care, nails, skin care, perms, chemical treatments, facials, waxing, manicures, pedicures, cosmetic products, hair color, and hair styling, all performed under the direct supervision of qualified instructors. Its faculty draws from the worlds of fashion, art and design. WBI graduates have gone on to become hair stylists, make up artists, salon managers, salon owners, CEO’s of beauty salon chains, platform artists, colorists, and medical skin care professionals. The beauty school is accredited by the National Accrediting Commission of Cosmetology Arts and Sciences (NACCAS) and is approved for the training of veterans.
