Recently, Western Beauty Institute was fortunate to have quite a number of student teams competing in the recent Barristar Competition (sponsored by the Long Beach Hairdressers Guild) held at the Pasadena Convention Center.

While at the competition, Marvin Westmore of Westmore Academy of Cosmetic Arts selected our student, Tiffany Jones, out of a large number of competitors to receive a cash tuition scholarship. Ms Jahni, cosmetology instructor extraordinaire, introduced Ms. Jane Jung of Westmont Academy who then presented the award to Tiffany.

We are very proud that Marvin Westmore recognized our very own Tiffany Jones as one of the most talented at the Barristar Competition and rewarded that talent with this cash tuition award.
