I photographed Mrs. Murdice Campbell at an event in July of this year, 2008 in the Panorama City facility. I found her to be a happy, hearty, joyful, passionate and spiritual human being. She brightened everyone's day with her jokes and quips and broad, fabulous smile. Today, I was saddened to hear that she passed away recently.

Mrs. Murdice Faye Campbell came into this world October 2nd, 1930 and she left us on August 23rd, 2008. Mrs. Campbell was a member of the Missionary Baptist Church and her services, presided over by Reverend Doctor Chapman, were held in the Greater Community Missionary Baptist Church at 11006 Norris Avenue in Pacoima, California at 11 AM on August 30th. Our heartfelt thoughts and prayers go out to Mrs. Campbell's family and close friends. She will be missed by all of us here at Western Beauty Institute.
