Recently, the San Fernando Valley Campus of renowned Western Beauty Institute held a “Men’s Vogue” for the students. A total of six up-and-coming stylists coifed and groomed the male models “to a T.” The primarily female student populace greeted the models with great enthusiasm.

The judges Jonathan Jones, Ernesto Eñiguez and Jacqueline Casos had much difficulty in selecting winners from such wonderful artistry. They finally selected stylist Ruby Ramirez, First Place (model: Nick Rose), stylist Marisela Quezada, Second Place (model: Owen Alberto Diaz), and stylist Antoinette Almanza, Third Place (model Jared A. Bossin).

Other participants included stylist Camren Hinojosa (model: Chris Krii), Alexis McConnell (model D.J. McConnell), and Emanuel Caballero (model: Pablo Manriquez).

The winners received special medallions, and all of the competitors received certificates for their participation.

Judges Jonathan Jones and Ernesto Eñiguez are both licensed barbers, while judge Jacqueline Casos is a licensed cosmetologist. All three judges are accomplished former students of Western Beauty Institute.

We all look forward to next year's competition with anticipation.
