A recent feature article in La Opinión newspaper highlighted the manicuring tips of Western Beauty Institute Instructor Supervisor Flor Leaños. The article by La Opinión writer Patricia Prieto outlined the care, techniques and treatments Ms. Leaños teaches to make strong and beautiful nails.
A traditional manicure, the article states, begins with a light massage to the hands, and then proceeds to clean, shape and paint the nails. French nails can be accented with colors of pink, beige, lilac or white. But nails can also be embellished with artificial acrylic or plastic nail extensions and decorative paintings, stickers or precious stones.
Ms. Leaños explains that such manicures can be just what someone with weak or brittle nails might look for. She goes on to explain the care taken in the process of building up the nail to produce the perfect manicure, the different options and techniques which can be employed by the manicurist, as well as advice for the health and care of one’s nails.
Western Beauty Institute’s Panorama City / San Fernando Valley students have the most knowledgeable and talented instructors available, and La Opinión’s recognition of Instructor Supervisor Flor Leaños is proof.
