Western Beauty Institute honored its latest Antelope Valley Campus graduates with a ceremony and graduation party on Saturday, November 3rd, 2007 at the John P. Eliopolis Hellenic Center in Lancaster, just a few blocks from WBI’s AV campus.

Ms. Betty Alvarez, Special Events Coordinator for WBI, planned, coordinated and served as emcee for the event, assisted by members of the WBI staff. A mariachi group entertained graduates and their guests as they arrived for the festivities. After dinner, students in caps and gowns proceeded across the dance floor to seating on either side of the stage. Ms. Betty expressed the best wishes of owner Christina Diaz, who regretted not being able to attend. School Director Mr. Mark Walker congratulated the graduates, and diploma certificates and gift baskets were awarded to the forty-six honored students. Gifts and certificates of appreciation were also given out to WBI staff and instructors.
