Western Beauty Institute students took home medals from the Barristar Beauty Forum, held at the Marriott Hotel in Burbank, California on September 23rd & 24th.

The Long Beach Hair Dressers Guild sponsored the competition for the
Barristar Beauty School Forum student trade show. As in the past, the Guild provided the most advanced judges in their field. Presiding was
renowned judge Arnol Simpkins as Competition Director and Chairman of Judges, whose accomplishments include California State Champion of the Year, California Gold Trophy winner, Inter-American Championship, Arizona State Champion, finalist in USA Olympic Team Tryouts, New Year World Supreme Team Championship, California Fashion Committee Member, World International Beauty Association Competition Director & Judge, Long Beach Hairdressers Guild Educational Director and 204 Local, National and International awards and trophies.
