The Antelope Valley Press featured Western Beauty Institute and its owner, Christina Diaz (above right), in an article in the Business section of the daily paper on Thursday, August 9th. The article, written by Valley Press Business Editor Tina Forde (above left), included photos of the school by Evelyn Kristo.

“The industry is exploding now,” said owner Diaz. “Spa-type salons are becoming more popular, ones that provide full services — hair, coloring, estheticians and nails.” It’s important to Diaz that students are trained to meet the demands of today’s Beauty business world. “We want them to learn everything — to do everything that is thrown their way. We want to teach students more than the basics. We want our students to be the best of the best.”
