Cosmetology Course Performance Objectives:
The licensed cosmetologist will be prepared to seek profitable employment as a hairdresser, salon manager, hair colorist, salon owner, product demonstrator, or styling publicist. They will be versed in all areas of Cosmetology.
Graduation Requirements:
All students shall have completed the specified minimum required hours and operations upon completion of the sixteen hundred (1600) hour course. When a student has completed the required theory hours, practical operations and cumulative total of 1600 clock hours which encompass theory and practical training, in Cosmetology, with a GPA (Grade Point Average) of (70%) “C” or better, he/she is awarded a diploma certifying his/her graduation. Students are assisted in completing the necessary documents to file for the appropriate Board of Barbering and Cosmetology National Examination.
Financial Aid:
Financial Aid is available for those who qualify. You can apply for financial aid by filling out a FAFSA form. The grants received from the government are not loans, which means they do not have to be paid back. In addition, we also offer student loans that do need to be repaid six months after graduation date.
